Youth Programs

The youth of our congregation (grades 6th-12th) are vital and visible members of our faith community. The youth ministry programs seek to provide a place where middle and high school aged youth can:
- Develop and nurture their own personal faith journey and spiritual growth
- Enjoy meaningful and mutually respectful friendships
- Provide service to our local and world community
- Have fun!
In Sunday School (10:00-10:50am) youth are challenged to think, ask questions, and explore their faith in an open environment.
In Youth Group (Wednesday evenings 7:00-8:30pm) the youth enjoy events geared toward community social activities and service projects, such as bowling, movie and game nights, field trips, soup kitchen and other volunteer opportunities.
Annual service and mission projects in the past have ranged from attending the Parliament of World Religions in Barcelona, Spain, to volunteer work at a South Dakota Indian reservation, and an inner-city youth church convention in Denver.
Special Youth Events include:
- Annual lock-ins (twice a year) at the church
- Weekly youth fellowship groups
- Participation in conferences and retreats
- Annual Water World trip
- Annual Eldora ski retreat
- Confirmation Class
