Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) needs extra summer help! More families come for assistance when they receive no school lunches, and donations are down. Please bring donations during the month of June to the shopping cart in the narthex. Most needed foods include hearty soups, tuna, peanut butter, beans of all kinds (including refritos, pork and beans, etc.), breakfast cereals, canned fruits and vegetables, and dry milk. Additional non-food necessities help with the “Angel Shelf” including toilet paper, bar soap, tooth brushes and paste, diapers (size 4) and shampoo. This project is sponsored by UM Women in co-operation with Church Women United. Pick up a bag to fill in the narthex

Tornado Disaster Recovery Efforts Much work is going on behind the scenes in order to clarify how we may assist in the recovery efforts in the area of Colorado and Wyoming that was impacted by the recent tornadoes. The people of the United Methodist Church in Windsor do want to say thank you to everyone who has been in prayer for them and offered help and assistance in their recovery. A Long Range Recovery Team will be formed to develop procedures to initiate and manage recovery efforts and will determine where United Methodist volunteers might become involved and active. In the meantime, financial contributions will assist the recovery process. These contributions may be made to the “Conference Disaster Fund” through the Rocky Mountain Conference office. This fund provides early financial assistance in the recovery process. Checks with this designation in the memo line may be made out to your local church and dropped in the collection plate. Later, as a plan is developed, funds from the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) may also be utilized.

Participate in Summer Worship ~ Do you Sing? Dance? Play an instrument? Our choir goes on summer schedule beginning June 15 through August 31. We hope to fill the anthem “slot” with meaningful music and artistry. Currently our summer music schedule includes some very special solo and ensemble work. There are still open summer dates, so please let Evanne know if you're interested and available.
