April 12—Easter Sunday-- video of award winning theologian, historian, and author Dr. Karen Armstrong who recently won the worldwide TED award for her work in developing a Universal Charter for Compassion. Her aim is to bring compassion into the 3 major world religions as all have a stated belief of the Golden Rule. Her newest book is THE CASE FOR GOD.
April 19—Native American Spirituality by Marty Chase-Alone who is from the Dakota Tribe. This program is a continuing part of our Interfaith Series of last year.
April 26—Richard and Barbara Dash will share their experiences of PUTTING PEACES TOGETHER.
May 3—Video of Karen Armstrong, an award-winning theologian, historian, and author.
May 10—Our visiting theologian, the Rev. Dr. Al Staggs, will do another drama presentation.
May 17—The first of a series: “Who Is My Neighbor? A Faith Discussion On Immigration.”
May 24—”What Does The Lord Require Of You?” The second session in the series, “Who Is My Neighbor? A Faith Discussion on Immigration.”
May 31—”Perfect Love Casts Out Fear.” The third session of the immigration series.
June 7—The Good Samaritan: Who Is My Neighbor? Reflecting on Jesus’ parable of the good Samaritan, if we have to ask, “Who is my neighbor?” our neighborhood is too small.

August 9--Rev. Dr. Eugene Lowry our Theologian in Residence, to speak on: John Wesley-eclectic, contradictory, or just plain escape artist. Or John Wesley might also be known as "Methodism's First Revisionist".
August 16--Jeanne Elliott will tell us her life story, including some early church or religious trauma.
August 23--Orville and Bonnie Harms share their life stories.
August 30--Jon Kottke and Mary McDonald, with some other members of the mission team who went to Kenya this summer, will share their experiences and insights.
September 6--Linda Fong and Binx Selby, back a year since his serious illness to share their life stories and Binx's enhanced philosophy .

Dec. 12, 20, and 27th. We will have a series of REFLECTIONS ON Three SEASONAL HYMNS
to explore the rich emotional and experiential meaning of the lyrics.

Feb. 14--Black History month presentation and discussion by a University of Colorado professor with expertise in the civil rights or black history area.
Feb.21. and 28, At the forum, Rev. Keith will begin his shorter version of the Lenten series on THE HISTORICAL JESUS and the KINGDOM OF GOD.
Until Easter, the Adult Forum will be participating in an abbreviated version of Rev. Keith Thompson's Lenten Study using material from Dominic Crossan and Marcus Borg.
April 11--This Sunday begins a SERIES OF FOUR PROGRAMS ON TEENAGE ISSUES AND TEENS AT RISK WITH PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZAIONS SEEKING TO HELP THEM. Morgan Rogers, the Civic Forum Director of the Community Foundation will speak on the latest Boulder County Trends Survey Report with focus on specific Teen Issues.
April 18--Melissa Marsh, a Boulder County Public Health Nurse and Director of the OASIS Program.
April 25--Theresa Reali, a teacher at Arapahoe Ridge High School, will share with us the Teen Parenting Program.
May 2--ATENTION HOMES--Phyllis Olson will share some history of how she, her husband, Roger, and others from FUMC were instrumental in helping create the Attention Homes.
May 9--Mother's Day--Rev. John Churcher, A British Methodist Pastor, who will be with us briefly as a Theologian in Residence, will describe some of the Social Justice ministries in Great Britian.

June 6--Keith and Claire share some of their experiences, thoughts, feelings, and satisfactions of serving FUMC these past nearly 6 years.
June 13--THE LIFE STORY of HELEN WINSTED who will share with us both her personal story of her spiritual growth as well as stories of her FUMC experiences and member participation since 1963.
June 20--Rev. Al Staggs returned to discuss Wm Sloane Coffin, a man who was "out there" on the front line on issues such as civil rights, war, nuclear proliferation, and glbt rights.
June 27 -- A DVD presentation of a Social Justice issue or an idea or ideal to promote spiritual growth.
